KUDOS! Ministry Vision

Kudos! Ministry, SSM is a non-profit Christian discipleship training ministry to equip and exhort Christians to be powerful, effective disciples of Christ. The vision of Kudos! Ministry is to make disciples of Christ who are faithful servants of God in their purpose, calling, and roles as revealed in the Bible and modeled in the first Church.

A disciple of Christ is one whose first love is Jesus Christ by following the word of God, not the ways of the culture. Contrary to what most people believe about Christianity, the life as as sold-out disciple is far more exciting and fulfilling than anything our culture has to offer! It is The Greatest Adventure of All Time!

Kudos! Ministry focuses on these important principles of the Faith:

  • Knowing and believing your Identity in Christ
  • Being a new creation in Christ
  • Living from your real identity, not toward it
  • Your victory in Christ and your purpose on Earth
  • Being an overcomer
  • Throwing off everything that hinders you as Christ’s Ambassador—lies, deceptions, personal woundedness, addictions, worldliness
  • Encouragement and exhortation
  • Helping one another and having each other’s back
  • Living in relationships as Christ intends
  • Engaging in Christian combat
  • Recognizing and understanding the schemes of Satan in today’s culture
  • Putting on the armor of God and standing firm
  • Fighting in the spiritual realm—knowing and employing skillfully the weapons of Christian warfare
  • Prayer—overcoming obstacles and barriers and moving things in the spiritual realm—not our will be done, but God’s will be done

The Christian Life is Out of this World

Being ambassadors of Christ in this fallen world is our calling, which means growing up and becoming mature in Christ. Being born again, salvation in Jesus Christ, is a new life that is out of this world! We are a new creation! The journey of the old life the world has to offer is no comparison to The Wild Kingdom of God! But many Christians are not experiencing Christianity in its fullness and richness.

Jesus told his disciples to love one another. He said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Easier said than done! Christian living in this fallen world is tough. It’s painful, often marked with suffering and challenges everything about the way we see, think, believe and who or what we choose to trust.

Jesus literally turned the world upside down by demolishing the lies and deceptions of this world. He told us to be in the world but not of the world. In his Sermon on the Mount Jesus obliterates religious self-interest and teaches us about selflessness and sacrifice that comes from love. Of course, it got him crucified. And Jesus is calling us to be crucified too — crucified to the world, to our flesh and to the futility of our thinking. The question is, will we? Do we want Jesus? Or, do we only want what he can give us in the way of blessings?

Jesus is our hope and our encouragement

Jesus said to be of good cheer, that he has overcome the world. May we believe it and live accordingly. After all, we have the mind of Christ — and his heart as well!
